Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse

With the growth of our skilled nursing and health care areas we have added additional FT RN positions for the following shifts, 6am-6pm, 9am-7pm and 10pm-6:30am.

Summary of Job: Employee to performs nursing functions in order to provide residents with medical care; may perform assigned duties related to and require from PCSC staff members for those residents who are in Medicare-certified beds.

Reporting Relationship:  Employee reports to the Director or Assistant Director of Nursing and to the SNF Healthcare Center Administrator.  Employee supervises CNA’s and LPN’s.  Other important reporting relationships may include the Executive Director and those having input in MDS.

Transportation Associate

Seeking full time Transportation employee to join our team at our Columbia community

Summary of Job:  The Transportation position will be responsible for transporting residents (all venues) safely to and from appointments including,  but not limited to, physician appointments.  Also helps with outings and activities such as shopping trips, luncheons, concerts or trips.

Qualifications:  Candidate must be at least 25 years of age, have a clean drivers record, must be a Certified Nursing Assistant, CPR certified and one year of experience working with senior adults.

Reporting Relationship:  Employee reports directly to the Director of Life Enrichment.

Staff Development Coordinator

The Columbia Presbyterian Community is looking for a Staff Development Coordinator dedicated to making a difference. This position plays a pivotal role of education, training,and leading staff to enrich the lives of our residents across our entire continuum.   This servant leader must have a great commitment for working with employees and seniors to ensure a positive work environment for professional development.

The Staff Development Coordinator position encompasses more than a technical knowledge and execution;it includes working with an interdisciplinary team of like-minded professionals towards the fulfillment of our mission."We are a Compassionate Christian Ministry Dedicated to Enriching the Quality of Life for Seniors of All Faiths."

The minimum requirement for the position is a licensed Registered Nurse in South Carolina with two firm years of clinical long term care experience or staff development experience.  Preferred experience is a Bachelor Degree in Nursing with five years of related experience in a healthcare environment.  In addition, the applicant shall have a track record of measurable results and knowledge in regulatory aspects.
