Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina is proud to offer six unique Life Plan communities that provide adults ages 62 and older with vibrant retirement lifestyles and the security of future care. Known elsewhere as continuing care retirement communities, we believe our Life Plan communities better reflect in name the opportunities our residents experience.
“The name ‘Life Plan community’ helps us communicate who we are,” says Kathy Ligon, President and CEO of Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina. “By offering an array of living options full of possibilities as well as a continuum of support services available down the road, our communities allow planning for the future to merge with living well in the present. We believe a Life Plan community offers seniors the highest expectations for retirement living, meeting each resident in their current needs and giving full peace of mind for the future.”

Longevity & Innovation Through Life Plan Communities
Each PCSC community is a Life Plan Community, offering a wide range of senior lifestyles and services including independent living, assisted living and residential care, memory support, skilled nursing care and short-term rehabilitation.
We believe a Life Plan Community should allow future planning and living to merge. Having a plan in place – and the security of access to a continuum of health care services – grants residents the freedom to live life to the fullest.
